Mary Burton hit it out of the park with Her Last Word. This book was an excellent read from the start. The only thing that I must caution readers to do is to be sure to look at the dates at the start of each chapter so that they they know if they are dealing with what is going on during the current time and not the memories that people are going over with Kaitlin for podcast.
I thought the matchup of Kaitlin and Adler was brilliant. They went together so well and you could feel the chemistry coming off the pages. As for they mystery of what happened to Gina and who was her killing people now who was there the night she disappeared it was well written and played out very well. This book truly was an great book and I hope to see some of the secondary characters in upcoming books as well.
Her Last Word gets nothing but five out of five stars.

This book was pretty good overall. It did start off a bit slow but the action did pick up and it was full of twist and turns and a number of surprises. 
I am giving Yesterday's News four out of five stars.

This book was pretty good. Even though Beyond Control was the third book in a trilogy it was a stand alone. I enjoyed the book for the most part. It did move a bit slow in some parts for me but it was a good read.
I am giving Beyond Control four out of five stars.

I really enjoyed this book. I have never read anything by Hillier before but now I am a fan.
Had of Hearts was a very emotional thriller with a number of twist that keep the reader on edge. I also loved the book being told from both a male and female perspective to add another dimension to the story. This was an excellent read and I absolutely loved it.
Jar of Hearts gets five out of five stars.

The Girl With No Name (Detective Josie Quinn #2) by Lisa Regan

All I can say is I loved this book. This series is awesome and I really hope that Lisa Regan decides to go further with Josie Quinn because this is one heck of a character that can go a long way.
This book had me hooked from the start and I could not out it down. With the abduction of a baby and her fiance Josie Quinn and her team had their hands full in this book and and it seemed like they were finding bodies and hurdles in their way at every turn.
This book was full of action and suspense and was another great read n this series by Lisa Regan. If you are looking for a book that you won't be able to put down that be sure to puck up The Girl With No Name because it will not disappoint.
I am giving this book five out of five stars.

I really enjoyed this book that was fast moving and was full of action from start to finish. When ER nurse Eva Bowman accidentally killed a gang leaders brother when he was trying to rape her in the restroom she was marked for death. She goes to the Colby Agency for help and her bodyguard is none other than her her first love Todd Christian who left her without a word with a broken heart in college.
Todd has his hands full keeping Eva alive and his hands off of her as he is protecting her from a man who is determined to get revenge for his younger brother and is leaving bodies in his wake. This is another great book by Debra Webb that will keep you in the edge of your seat until the end.
Finding the Edge gets five out of five stars.

Review: Thank you NetGalley for the copy of The Forgotten Ones by Steena Holmes that I read and reviewed. I could not put this book down. I read this book in one sitting. I thought I had it all figured out but by the end I really did not have a clue what was going and I loved every second of it. This was one of those books that Steena Holmes takes the reader on an emotional journey with her on and you fall in love with the people in the book and feel like they are part of your family and when the book is over you feel like you lost your friends.I loved the Elle and her mother and even her grandfather. Each person in this book played a special part that made this book excellent. If you are looking for a book that will keep you guessing from start to finish and will take your breath away The Forgotten Ones is the one you are looking for.I give The Forgotten Ones five out of five stars.
