As a reporter, Ellen
West has an inherent need to dig up secrets and expose them, and the
Baxter School of the Arts is concealing a secret she has vowed to find.
But on the path to the truth, she finds Gabe Kent, former ball player,
and he sets about the path to finding out her truth, and it’s much more
complicated than anyone could have suspected.
A school for the talented and the wounded.
A secret that threatens to destroy the whole system.
A threat that’s lurking in the background.
Blinding passion that clouds her vision.
A love unlike she could ever have dreamed.
Gabe Kent might be more than she can handle. But she certain he’s more than she deserves.
Review: I was given a copy of Between the Lines from NetGalley for an honest review and this is my review.
I
really enjoyed this book. It was full of intrigue, romance and
suspense. There was were a few really hot sex scene that lit up my
Kindle but the chemistry between Ellen and Gabe called for that kind of
passion. I really enjoyed how real the characters were and how they had
real problems. It was also refreshing that both characters had some sort
of illness or physical problem to deal with and was not totally
perfect.
The storyline was great with two kind of problems for
Ellen to work out. The one she is hiding from in her past and the one
she is trying to unravel at Baxter. It keeps the reader on their toes
and guessing throughout the entire book.
As I mentioned before the
romance and chemistry between the characters was also very well written.
They were both very believable.
I highly enjoyed Between the Lines and am giving it four out of five stars.
