Boone has discovered Valerie’s real identity and he’s determined to expose her secrets… and maybe more. What he didn’t expect was to be blindsided by a crazy attraction to the buttoned-up lady with the sultry voice and a hidden past. He had carefully plotted his revenge, but soon all he can think about is how much he’d like to take Valerie as very own his stand-in bride…
Review: I was given a copy of Bride on the Run from NetGalley for an honest review and this is the review.
I absolutely adored this book. Even though this book was about Valerie leaving her groom at the alter I loved the fact the male hero was Boone from a previous book who was dumped by having his girlfriend because of some advice Serena/Valerie had given her. It was so awesome so read Boone's side of the breakup because a lot of time the men get forgotten and it was refreshing to see Boone's side of the story.
I pairing of Boone and Valerie was great. They fit each other so well. You could fell the chemistry between them as you were reading their story. I liked how they had so much in common yet they had such different views on life and relationships.
This book was an excellent addition to the series and was well written with a great story and excellent characters. I am giving Bride on the Run five out of five stars.
