Mind Game takes Jane MacGuire back to Scotland where she continues her search for the treasure she’s been chasing for years. But now she’s being plagued by dreams of a girl in danger. Who is this girl, and what is she trying to tell Jane? And will Jane figure it out before it’s too late—for her and the mysterious young woman? Things are further complicated when Seth Caleb comes back into Jane’s life. This time he’s the one in trouble, and Jane will find herself pulled unexpectedly into his world as she fights to save him.
Review: Thank you NetGalley for an ARC of Mind Game by Iris Johansen that I read and reviewed.
This was and excellent addition to the Eve Duncan series even though this book focuses around Jane MacGuire, Eve and Joe's adopted daughter. In the book Jane is having dreams about a girl who is in trouble who she calls Lisa and who she learns is the sister of Seth Caleb who she has had a complicated relationship with in the past and who her family feel they owe for saving Eve and her young son.
As Caleb and Jane race to save Lisa they find out there is more behind her abduction then meets the eye and Jane starts to learn more about Caleb and their relationship gets a lot more complicated. Also, Eve and Joe decide to take their relationship to a whole to level to the surprise and joy of their family and friends.
Mind Game has another chapter in the life of Eve Duncan and her family and friends. It is full of suspense and also romance and also more updates on a family that fans if Johansen feels like they are a part of. I
Mind Game gets five out of five stars.
